Queen’s Young Leader Award – Celebrating a Star Team

Launched in July 2014, the programme set out to discover, celebrate and support exceptional young people from every Commonwealth nation who are leading the way in transforming their own lives and the lives of those around them.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme was established by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, in partnership with Comic Relief, The Royal Commonwealth Society and The University of Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education, in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s lifetime of service to the Commonwealth.

Benedict Bryan the founder of the HARTT was awarded the Queen’s Young Leader Award in 2018. With over 10 years of experience implementing and creating community development initiatives, he continues to grow from strength to strength. Benedict dedicated this award to the brilliant young men and women he has worked with over the years, and celebrates those who continue to support the vision and mission of HARTT, and the young persons who continue to build a better society.

Between 2015 – 2018, 240 exceptional young people from across the Commonwealth received a Queen’s Young Leaders Award in recognition of the work they were undertaking to transform their lives and the lives of those around them.
